Palm Tree Afghan

I know you thought I hadn't done anything crafty in a long time, but this actually took me a long time to make.

 I fell in love with this pattern when I saw it online. Amazingly enough it really looks like the pattern picture! See for yourself @ freepatterns.com, you have to register but it's free.
My next crochet piece is a cute little vest. You may or may not see it, depends on how it looks. I'm not very good at crocheting clothes.

    That's fantastic. Perfect summery look. I love freepatterns.com I've gotten some great stuff there. Good luck on the vest. I tried one once and it was a total flop...lol

    I went to free patterns..didn't turn up the palm tree pattern..can you find it or post link..I just love that afghan..thanks so much.

    Do you have a trick to changing colors on this pattern? I'm relatively new to crocheting. I started this pattern, but my tree trunk is not straight because I'm not changing yards correctly. Any advice?

      Diane I am not good at giving tutorials but this one is good.
