Meatball Soup

20ish meatballs-cooked
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can sliced mushrooms or fresh
1pkg frozen mixed vegetables
1 can chicken broth
1 can cream mushroom soup
3 potatoes peeled and cubed
1/2 onion
2 tbls butter
1 tbls chopped garlic
Italian seasoning
salt to taste

Peel and cube potatoes, put in a large pot with about a cup to a cup and a half of water. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, mixed vegatables, chicken broth, cream soup and meatballs. May need to add a little water to cover everything. In a small pan saute onion and garlic in butter and Italian seasoning until onions are clear. Add to pot. Salt to taste. Simmer at low to medium heat for about 30 minutes. Really good next day.
Serves 6 to 8
